"Me? Have a power?" Syph asked, now more confused than ever. True, she had a way with pokemon since she preferred them over other people, but this wasn’t what she meant. Maybe with her ability to raise pokemon, was her special power. Who knew. "Um….where I come in?" She spoke up once more and tilted her head, something about this didn’t seem right," What exactly do ya mean by that sir, if I may ask? And um…what can I help with?"

"Have you ever wished you could make a difference in the world? Ever wanted to be a part of something that really mattered?” The masked man asked, continuing to tower over her.

psychicmasterwill

thepryceisright asked:

"Well well well, never thought I would see you again."

psychicmasterwill answered:

The psychic froze, face turning pale as he heard the voice. There was no way the man would be back. There was no way…

"…Pryce."

psychicmasterwill:

Will’s gaze grew cold. “Unfortunately for you, I have no interest in such a venture. I also remembered the last time you gave me an offer, and look at the damage it caused.”

A cold smirk crossed his lips, his eyes looking to the little Lapras for a moment before looking back to the old man. “You’re really something, you know that? You honestly think I’m some naive child that you can wrap around your finger. Don’t think you can fool me, Old Man; I can read your thoughts as plain as day.” Will reached into his pocket, pulling out a pokeball of his own. While it would be a poor match up, Xatu would have it no other way.

"Now do I have to tell you again, or do you get the hint?"

"Now now, William, don’t get the wrong idea. I have no intention of making this little one fight." He calmly recalled the pokemon. "I was simply showing you what I had to offer. Proving that you too, could reclaim what you’ve lost to the tragic past." Price shrugged slightly as he put away the ball. "But how was I to know that over all these years, you because even more heartless a man than I…. I suppose I should be congratulating you." He grinned.

darkmasterkaren

darkmasterkaren asked:

"Well, well, well~ Look what showed up," Karen drawled, a hard look in her eyes. "I see what you're doing, and if you so much as lay a hand on Will I shall personally make sure you perish."

thepryceisright answered:

"Now now, Karen, is that any way to greet an old family member after such a long time? I can’t blame you too much I suppose, you always were the jealous type, accusing me of playing favorites and such. But don’t you worry my dear, don’t think I had forgotten about you."

darkmasterkaren:

"Yet it appears Will is quite livid. I can sense his emotions from here, which only means you provoked him." Her eyes narrowed. "You are far from being on our side, Pryce," she replied coldly. "Whatever business it is you have to finish, we will end it.

"Well that’s rather cold of you to say." Price replied with a menacing laugh. "And that should mean a lot, coming from a man like me." He shook his head slightly as if to express disappointment in her. "What has happened to you Karren? You were the best and most loyal I had to offer. Are you really so quick to turn hostile?"

saffronnights

thepryceisright asked:

"Well now, what do we have here? You seem like a loyal one... no? Tell me, just what does the name 'Team Rocket' mean to you?"

saffronnights answered:

Her gaze narrowed onto the older man. So he decided to show himself to her as well? How flattering. She closed her eyes and smirked to herself, allowing a small laugh to leave her lips. No doubt he knew if he was able to brainwash a few of her own.

"I could ask the same of you."

"Well I don’t see the harm in answering first." Price replied calmly. "To me, Rocket is an icon… a symbol of power. A power that goes hand and hand with fear, one that can be grasped and used to gain what ordinary men cannot."

This was a rare moment of honestly and realness from the old man. No deception, no hidden motive in his words. These were his true feelings toward the organisation

"Now, what of you?"

darkmasterkaren

darkmasterkaren asked:

"Well, well, well~ Look what showed up," Karen drawled, a hard look in her eyes. "I see what you're doing, and if you so much as lay a hand on Will I shall personally make sure you perish."

"I think the greeting is more than fitting, don’t you?~" she asked sweetly, her gaze anything but. "Perhaps, but that was then, and this is now~

Now be a dear and tell me why you’re poking your nose into our affairs, or shall I introduce you to my Houndoom?~”

"I don’t recall ever showing any hostile intent, dear." Price replied with a sly grin. "Believe it or not, I’m on your side. Just an old man with a bit of unfinished business. That’s all."

"Power?" She blinked her mismatched eyes, that was a question she’d never heard of before. Why would he ask her that? She wasn’t a battler in the least. Still, she’d felt rather rude if she weren’t to answer the elder’s question.

"Power, to me, is abilities one holds and can use to make a difference in the world. Or, it can be obtained by means of trainin’ and learnin’ about things ya don’t normally know ‘bout." Syph answered and was being honest, looking confused," Is there somethin’ I can help ya with sir?"

"With an answer like that, yes, I DO believe you can be of help to me." Pryce answered. "Your ‘power’ is one not found in many, but it is not one to be underestimated by any means." He thought back to his final battle at the shrine in the forest and his defeat at the hands of Gold, ‘the hatcher’ . "I made the mistake of underestimating one with your same power some time ago. A mistake I intend to reverse. And that is where you come in my dear."

"Lost partner? Karen’s here by my side, so that would be a no. Old age certainly wasn’t kind to you, so why not do yourself a favour and check yourself into the nearest home?

Or would you like me to do it for you?” He knew he shouldn’t stoop to his level, yet it was the only thing preventing him from unleashing his powers on the old man.

"Don’t assume you can play dumb with me of all people, William." Price said, his voice turning stern for a moment. "It is a waste of both of our times, and for your sake, I would be interested in hearing what I have to offer."

He slowly took out a pokeball, revealing a very young Lapras. “Unless of course… you have no interest in getting back what you have lost.”

darkmasterkaren asked:

"Well, well, well~ Look what showed up," Karen drawled, a hard look in her eyes. "I see what you're doing, and if you so much as lay a hand on Will I shall personally make sure you perish."

psychicmasterwill:

By now his nails were digging into his palm, the only thing keeping his rage from boiling over. He wasn’t going to waste his energy on this old fool. It wasn’t worth it.

"My powers were already awakened before you came for me, Old Man," he said, a slight sneer to his words. "And if you think you’re going to have me under your thumb again, then you’re sorely mistaken." It would be a cold day in hell before Will returned under his control.

"Try anything, and I will crush you.”

"My my, William, you’ve become as cold as me over the years. It seems that I taught you more than just how to be strong." Price snickered. "Tell me, could it have something to do with your lost partner?” There was still not a single hint of concern in the man’s voice. In his mind, Will was as good as wrapped around his finger.
